Checked Baggage

Passengers are allowed to check in 1 free bag weighing up to 15 kg. However, the checked baggage allowance for Business Regular and Business Flexi fares is 20 kg.

Carry-on Baggage

In this category, passengers can carry a bag, including a laptop, up to 7 kg. The hand baggage should not exceed the dimensions of L 38 cm, B 15 cm, and H 40 cm.

Extra Baggage

For every extra kg of excess baggage a traveler carries he will have to shell out a fee of INR 400.

Alcoholic Beverages

Travelers can carry up to 5 L alcoholic beverages provided they meet the following requirements.

• They should not carry more than 5 L of alcohol in any one piece of luggage.
• Alcohol should be properly packed and sealed.
• The alcohol should not contain more than 70% alcohol by volume.

Cabin Category

The cabin category in Star AIR is available in 3 different categories. These include the Economy and Business categories.

Economy: Seats in this category are arranged in a 2-2 layout with a seat pitch of 31 inches.

Business: Seats in this category are arranged in a 1-2 layout with a seat pitch of 36 inches, ensuring more comfort. The passengers traveling in business class also receive benefits like free seat selection, baggage allowance of up to 20 kg, priority check-in and boarding, and meals and drinks on board.

The business category offers two business class options - Business Flexi and Business Regular, with similar services.
