Akasa Air Baggage Allowance

All domestic flights operated by Akasa Air allow 15 kilos of checked luggage, with the maximum dimensions being 158 cm (62 inches). For international flights, 30 kg per passenger, with a maximum dimension of 158 cm (62 in), is permitted. One item of hand baggage per passenger is allowed in the aircraft cabin. Akasa Air's baggage allowance policy has limits on the number and weight of bags and the dimensions of check-in bags.

Carry-on baggage

• On Domestic Flights: One handbag up to 7 kg and 115 cm (L + W + H)
• On  International Flights: One handbag up to 7 kg and 115 cm (L + W + H)

Alcoholic Beverages

As long as the following requirements are fulfilled, travellers are permitted to check in up to five litres of alcoholic beverages:

• The alcoholic beverage is properly wrapped in retail packaging to avoid damage or leaking.
• The beverage has a maximum alcohol concentration of 70%.

Additional Baggage

• Additional luggage can be reserved online by passengers for about 900 INR per bag.
• For 1200 INR per item, passengers can reserve permission in advance to bring sporting or musical equipment.
• At the airport, travellers can buy additional baggage for 1000 INR each.
