How To Carry ZamZam Water in Flights?
Zam Zam is the holy water from the well located within Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. The water is held sacred by the Muslim community and many passengers traveling to Saudi Arabia would want to take it back home. Many airlines allow carriage of this water as a part of or in addition to the free check-in baggage allowance. The water is available in sealed packing and is to be carried as a check-in baggage. Please be mindful that the bottle is not to be placed inside the check-in bag. From some airports only approved water or produced by some special company can be carried. An additional condition could be that this water shall have been produced under King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Zamzam Water Project.
