Being a low-cost carrier where the price of air ticket is delinked from many add-ons or ancillaries, IndiGo charges for these add-ons. In addition, it also provides different combinations of product and services. These are clubbed into three broad categories: 6E Add-ons, 6E Xtras and 6E Fares. 6E Fares and Features

6E Fares include discounted fares available to certain passengers such as students, armed forced personnel and elderly passengers, benefits by way of package deals such as extra baggage allowances for free, seats, meals, and other benefits. A summary of these benefits is given in table below.

Stretch and Stretch+	Complimentary priority check-in, meals and beverage, 30-40 kg check-in baggage, 12 kg cabin baggage, Rs 3800 fee and 7 kg cabin baggage for infants, Zero Convenience fee and others
Super 6E	Free seat including XL, free snack and beverage combo, extra 5 kg baggage allowance, 50% discounted fares on pre-booked baggage and any number of changes to itinerary prior to 4 days of date of departure.
Flexi Plus Fare	Complimentary meals and seats, XL seats at 50% discount, pre-paid excess baggage at 20% discount, reduced charges for cancellations and changes.
Student Fare	6% discount on base fares, 10 kg extra allowance if bookings done at least 7 days in advance
Senior Citizen	6% discount on base fares on domestic flights only.
Armed Forces	50% discount on base fare
Infant	Special infant fee is charged instead of regular fares.
Unaccompanied Minor	Flying Solo service is available for minors of age 5-12 years if traveling alone and it is optional for minors of age 13-18 years.
